“… [T]he single family home has always been said to be the haute-couture version of residential architecture. For the Hinterberger house, that applies even more. You enter from the street to the east and catch a glimpse of the glazed ceiling profile, which moves up over the façade. You first realize the reason for this when inside; the motif carries through across the roof and all the way to the west, garden-side façade. It creates beautiful light reflections during the day, while at night, the starry sky arches over one of the two children’s rooms. the concept for the house seems unusual at first. it questions conventional living concepts …“
