Winery Wellanschitz
Description
The winery Wellanschitz in Burgenland is one of the first “new” wineries in Austria. As a pioneer it was not completely turned upside down (…), but remained true to its tradition and defied all spatial shortages with expansion.
The cellar room, once used as a wine store, was converted into a wine presentation and tasting room. (…) The architecture was colored in Wellanschitz-red, which can be found on every wine etiquette.
In order to make room for the wine production, a new cellar was dug at the far end of the typical Burgenland “Streckhof” and then a simple utility building in steel skeleton construction is build up (…).
