(…) Simple handling, rapid stocking, and just as rapid removal were the headlines for Andreas and Gerda Gerner. The containers were produced in steel to ensure simple construction and prevent vandalism, as much as possible. So that the ever-attentive newspaper butlers awaiting the flood of passengers at the entry of every subway station don’t tip over in the heat of the morning tussle, a simple weight was placed into a closeable opening on the backside.
Meanwhile, there are three different sizes of dispensers, in several colors, and several mutations, and they are even found in several different cities. The outdoor model, in silver, has been equipped with a Plexiglas cover. A patent has been registered for all of the designs: to avoid any – undesirable – duplicates.
